If you're planning to become a commercial pilot, you probably already know that flight training requires a significant financial investment. Before you start flying, consider another important expense: DGCA CPL Ground Classes.
So, is it possible to get free DGCA ground classes in India without compromising on the quality of your training?
At SkyPro Aviation, students who complete our DGCA ground school and continue their CPL flying training in Argentina with SkyPro Aviation can have their entire ₹1,50,000 CPL ground school fees adjusted against their flying training fees.
In simple terms, if you plan to complete both your CPL ground school and Argentina CPL training with SkyPro Aviation, you won't have to pay the ₹1.5 lakh ground school tuition as an additional expense on top of your flying training fees.
Here's how the fee adjustment works, what you'll learn during your DGCA ground classes, and who qualifies for this benefit.
How Can You Get DGCA Ground Classes at No Additional Cost?
At SkyPro Aviation, the fee for DGCA ground classes for all 5 subjects Air Navigation, Air Meteorology, Air Regulations, Technical General, and Radio Telephony is ₹1,50,000 plus 18% GST, bringing the total amount payable to ₹1,77,000.
Students pay this amount when enrolling in the CPL ground school programme.
However, if a student completes their DGCA ground school with SkyPro Aviation and subsequently joins the CPL flying training programme in Argentina with SkyPro Aviation, the ₹1,50,000 tuition fee is adjusted against their Argentina flying training cost.
NOTE: The ₹27,000 GST component is not adjustable as it is the tax paid to the government.
What Do You Learn at SkyPro Aviation's DGCA Ground School?
Before beginning practical flying training, students need a sound understanding of aviation theory.
SkyPro Aviation conducts DGCA ground classes in Jaipur, with online and offline learning options for students across India.
Our ground school covers the core CPL theory subjects, including:
- Air Navigation: Flight planning, navigation charts, instruments, calculations and navigation procedures.
- Aviation Meteorology: Weather patterns, aviation forecasts, atmospheric conditions and their impact on flying.
- Air Regulations: Aviation rules, airspace classifications, flight procedures and applicable regulations.
- Technical General: Aircraft systems, aerodynamics, engines, flight instruments and principles of flight.
- Radio Telephony: Aviation communication procedures, standard radio phraseology, emergency communication protocols, and preparation for the RTR (A) examination.
Our teaching approach focuses on conceptual understanding, regular revision, question practice, doubt-clearing sessions and DGCA examination preparation. Students are encouraged to understand the reasoning behind concepts rather than depend entirely on memorising question-bank answers.
Learn From Experienced Aviation Faculty
A strong foundation in aviation begins with the right guidance.
At SkyPro Aviation, our DGCA ground classes are conducted by experienced aviation professionals who bring years of operational flying, instructional expertise, and real-world aviation knowledge into the classroom.
Our faculty includes distinguished former Indian Air Force veterans, Gp Capt. Arvind Thapliyal (Retd), Gp Capt. Narender Kumar Dahiya (Retd), Gp Capt. Punit Mehta (Retd), and Sqn Ldr. Nivedita Choudhary (Retd).
With extensive backgrounds in military and civil aviation, our instructors go beyond textbooks and question banks. They help students see how theoretical concepts apply in real flight operations, making complex subjects easier to grasp and retain.
Through concept-based teaching, practical examples, interactive discussions, and exam-focused preparation, students build the knowledge and confidence needed for DGCA examinations and subsequent flying training.
Our goal is simple: learn the concepts, prepare thoroughly for DGCA CPL examinations, and build a strong foundation for flying training.
Continue Your CPL Flying Training in Argentina
Students who complete their DGCA ground classes at SkyPro Aviation can choose to continue their commercial pilot training in Argentina through our partner flying school, Aviación Tejedor.
SkyPro Aviation is Aviación Tejedor's official Indian partner and assists students with admissions, documentation, visa guidance, pre-departure preparation, and the process of converting their foreign pilot licence to an Indian DGCA CPL.
Rather than treating ground school and flying training as two entirely separate expenses, eligible students can have their ₹1,50,000 ground school fees credited against the applicable Argentina CPL training fees.
NOTE: The flying training programme fee will be based on the applicable package at the time of enrolment.
Who Is Eligible for the Ground School Fee Adjustment?
The ₹1,50,000 adjustment is available subject to the following conditions:
- The student enrols in SkyPro Aviation's DGCA ground school and pays the applicable ground school fee, including GST.
- The student completes the DGCA ground school programme with SkyPro Aviation.
- The student joins the CPL flying training programme in Argentina
- Students choosing a different flying school or a flying programme outside the eligible SkyPro Aviation Argentina pathway cannot claim this benefit.
Students should confirm the applicable fee adjustment terms with SkyPro Aviation before enrolling.
